Hayrides for the family Every October we have hayrides to the pumpkin patch for families who want to enjoy a no frills look at a working family farm.
Ride a 1/2 mile across the farm on a tractor pulled flat-bed wagon of hay. Pick a pumpkin from the patch (10 to 40 lb.). Afterwards, grap a bag of popcorn and enjoy walking around looking at the goats, peacocks, and geese and view the site of the Elizabeth River.

Hayrides for Groups Over 3,000 children, teachers, and parents enjoy the ride to the pumpkin patch. Each child picks a 4 to 8 lb. pumpkin. After the ride, the teachers can walk with the children to look at the goats, peacocks, and geese.
A picnic area is provided upon request.
